Allattamento al seno: consigli dietetici

Qualche consiglio dietetico per le mamme che allattano!

– La tua dieta dovrebbe comprendere 3 pasti principali e 2 spuntini.
– Dovresti assumere 5 porzioni al giorno di frutta e verdura
– Il consumo di allergeni (agrumi, prodotti lattiero-caseari, uova, ecc) deve essere moderato o completamente evitato se c’è una predisposizione familiare alle allergie.
– L’assunzione di vino due volte alla settimana non ha controindicazioni per il bimbo se nato a termine ma assolutamente da evitare se il bimbo è prematuro.

– La tua dieta dovrebbe essere ricca di tisane e cibi che contengono sostanze nutritive in grado di aumentare la produzione del latte (come, per esempio, il finocchio) ma anche priva di alimenti che riducono la produzione di latte (azione antiesterogenica) come la salvia.
– Non dovresti assumere sostanze stimolanti come caffeina, teina e simili perché potrebbero disturbare il sonno del tuo bimbo.
– Se sei in sovrappeso non hai bisogno di fare una dieta ipocalorica ma basterà creare un piano alimentare equilibrato e basato sui 5 gruppi di alimenti per garantire un giusto equilibrio a te e al tuo bimbo!

Nutritional instructions for the nursing mothers.

– The mother’s diet should include 3 main meals and 2 snacks.
– The diet should contain 5 daily servings of fruits and vegetables.
– The consumption of the allergens (citrus, dairy products, eggs etc) must be moderated or completely avoided if there is a family predisposition to the allergy.
– One dose of alcoholic drink about twice a week does not have any kind of affection to the healthy full-term baby but it is strictly forbidden if the baby is premature.
– The diet of the mother should also be rich in herbal teas and foods that contain nutrients that increase the milk production (fennel, coriander etc) and also to avoid foods that contain nutrients with antiesterogenic action which reduce the milk production such as the sage.
– The diet of a nursing mother should not contain stimulant substances such as the caffeine which can disturb the sleep of the baby.
– The overweight or the obese mothers do not have to go on a strict low calorie diet but on a balance diet based on the 5 food groups in order to succed a balance nutrition for them and for their babies as well.
